Support of mechanical and electrical equipment setups and testing of Flexicon equipment
- Includes mechanical setup of industrial equipment
- Able to read and interpret setup instructions in the form of layout drawings and forms
- Taking accurate test data and other pertaining information
- Interface with customers during testing
- Dismantle and clean equipment after testing is completed
Material Sample Evaluations
- Be able to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets
- Take accurate measurements and bulk densities of customer supplied material and bulk bags
- Accurately input data into database for companywide reference
Test Facility Maintenance
- General equipment PM’s
- General upkeep of Test Facility
- Repair of broken equipment and other items pertaining to Test Facility functions
Assisting with Research and Development
- Able to take direction, conduct structured testing and report back regarding equipment development
- Work with Engineering to aid in the development of new product lines and improvements to existing equipment
Requirements:
- Ability to work alone and with others in equipment setup and teardown
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Take accurate data and relay information through other departments
- Make solid decisions and recommendations in a rapid paced, forward thinking environment
- Perform assigned responsibilities with moderate supervision
- Operate a forklift and man lift
- Work at heights up to 25 feet and in confined spaces
- Operate hand and power tools
- Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Willingness to learn on the fly, accept new ideas and assist with other departments, which could include traveling to customer facilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, experience with industrial equipment and interacting with customers on a daily basis while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.
