BEV-CON™ Flexible Screw Conveyor for difficult-to-handle bulk materials
Conveys bulk solid materials that tend to pack, cake, smear, seize or break apart
Flexicon's BEV-CON™ conveyor handles powder and bulk solid materials that tend to pack, cake, smear, seize or break apart in general purpose conveyors. The unit transports difficult-to-convey solids from large pellets to sub-micron powders such as: pigments, titanium dioxide, fragile particles and products containing moisture, oil, fat and other additives that can cause materials to cake under slight pressure or frictional heat. The enclosed conveyor tube prevents product and plant contamination, and enables products to maintain moisture and temperature levels, while the gentle rolling action of the inner spiral prevents the separation of blends. The rugged inner screw is the only moving part contacting material, resulting in reduced maintenance and increased reliability.
BEV-CON™ conveyors are available for low- to high-capacity applications in stationary configurations (shown) and as mobile units, designed, constructed and finished to industrial, food, (3-A) dairy and pharmaceutical standards.
BEV-CON™ conveyors can transport pigments, fragile particles, and moist, oily products that pack or cake under slight pressure or frictional heat.
