General Areas of Responsibility

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Parts Sales Specialist to drive sales of spare and replacement parts for Flexicon equipment. This role focuses on identifying customer needs, building strong relationships, and proactively generating sales opportunities to ensure customer operations are continually stocked and run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Proactive Outreach: Identify and contact potential customers through marketing, email inquiries, and industry networking to promote our range of Flexicon parts.
  • Dormant Quote Follow-up: Continual reengagement with customers who requested quotes but have not ordered.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored parts solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of our product offerings to recommend appropriate parts and add-ons to new and existing customers.
  • Order Processing: Collaborate with the internal Parts department team to ensure accurate order fulfillment, timely delivery, and excellent customer service.
  • CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in our in-house CRM system.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in Parts or Component sales, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or related industries. Experience with conveying equipment or spare parts sales is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand technical Flexicon products and explain their benefits to customers.
  • Proactivity: Self-motivated with a proven ability to multi-task
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree in a technical or related field preferred.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with industrial conveying systems or mechanical components is a plus.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.  CRM software experience is a plus.
