- Must be able to fit and weld components per engineering drawing and tolerances.
Requirements
- Must be able to properly use and read measuring and squaring devices. Set up welders for the different material uses Basic computer usage. Able to work both independently, and as a team.
- Long periods of standing and regular walking
- Use of hands to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move 10+ pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
Minimum Qualifications
- TIG and MIG welding of Stainless and Carbon sheet metal and structural tubing
