Conveying capacities, product degradation, material flowability, dust containment and other aspects of your process can be verified by working with Flexicon’s test labs.

What types of materials can be tested?

With the exception of materials that pose a serious hazard, most dry bulk materials can be tested full-scale at Flexicon’s test labs.

Do the test labs simulate full-size equipment?

Yes, the test labs are equipped with full-size models of all Flexicon equipment.

How do I schedule a material test?

Talk to your Flexicon Regional Sales Manager or Applications Engineer.

Is there a cost for testing?

While Flexicon does not generally charge for testing, we do ask that customers pay freight for incoming and outgoing materials. Occasionally, some materials require a nominal cleaning fee.

Do I need to send materials to Flexicon?

Yes, in order to run full-scale testing Flexicon will require that you ship the amount of material needed for the test.

Can I visit a test lab in person?

Yes, Flexicon is happy to host your team to view our testing first hand. However, visiting in person is not required to gain the benefits of full-scale project evaluation.

What happens after the test is completed?

Whether you visit Flexicon or not, you will receive full test reports and video of the testing. These results may be used to adjust your system designs prior to making your purchasing decision.
